There will be an interruption of electrical service beginning at 12:00 A.M., Sunday, October 25th (Saturday midnight), which will last approximately four (4) hours. This outage affects 4,406 Pennyrile Electric members.

The areas affected will be:

Elkton
Olmstead
Pea Ridge
Sharon Grove
Hwy 181 North to Clifty (Not including Clifty)
Hwy 181 South to Penchem
Allegre
Butler Road
US 68-80 from Fairview to Daysville
Stringtown Road
Bells Chapel
Davis Mill Road
Herman
Old Allensville & Allensville Road (within 2 miles of Elkton)

Pennyrile Electric regrets the inconvenience caused by this interruption, but it is necessary for TVA and Pennyrile Electric to perform maintenance to equipment within the Elkton substation. In case of inclement weather, this interruption will be rescheduled for a later date. Calls and texts will go out later this week to members who will be affected.

Crews are changing out a pole near the 11,000 block of Greenville Road due to a vehicle accident. We anticipate this to take approximately 4 hours to complete. There are 573 members affected by this outage.
