We are so excited to welcome Bailey, our newest intern here at Visiting Angels! ❤️

Visiting Angels is a proud partner of the Work-Based Learning (WBL) program through the Jackson County School System and Empower College & Career Center, and we absolutely LOVE having the opportunity to invest in, mentor, and encourage our local students as they prepare for their futures.

And Bailey is already off to an AMAZING start! 👏🏻

Bailey is a Jackson County High School senior who has already earned her Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential. She is also currently enrolled in the Lanier Technical College Nursing Aide program this semester as she continues building her skills and experience in healthcare. 🩺❤️

Her goal after graduation is to attend college and earn her nursing degree—and with her drive, work ethic, and dedication, we have no doubt she has a very bright future ahead of her! 🌟

Bailey has a spectacular personality, maintains good grades, AND has perfect attendance. 👏🏻 That says so much about the kind of young woman she is and the commitment she brings to everything she does.

Programs like Work-Based Learning give businesses like ours the opportunity to do more than simply provide students with work experience—we get to mentor, teach, encourage, and invest in the next generation of professionals in our community. And that is something we are incredibly proud to be a part of. ❤️

Today, Rotary Club of Jefferson President Thom Price, shared a “State of the Rotary” presentation, giving us an update on how the club is doing, where they’re headed, and how members can help get them there! 💙💛
