📣 Thanks to our fine volunteers for showing up and showing out this past Saturday, we removed an estimated 395lbs of litter from the Hot Springs Creek! As a joint effort, the Diamond Lakes Arkansas Master Naturalists DLAMN took to removing invasive species such as Privet. Y'all are awesome!

Remember; only rain down the drain! Urban street wash off ultimately makes it into the Hot Springs Creek. While rainwater probably didn't carry our biggest finds 🚽🌊, a full 13-gallon bag of miscellaneous litter averages 15lbs!

The Hot Springs Police Department (HSPD) is conducting a Citizen Feedback Survey to help gain input from the local community to formulate plans based on the collected survey data for the HSPD’s Five-Year (2026-2031) Strategic Plan, which will identify the department’s priorities and present its vision for the future. Participating in this survey can help strengthen community relations, pinpoint areas for improvement, and more - your input matters.
This anonymous survey will run from Monday, Sept. 14, to Friday, Sept. 25. To participate in this 5-minute questionnaire, visit www.surveymonkey.com/r/FTT8QCP
