🚒 Fire Prevention Week 2026 | Charge Into Fire Safety! 🔋⚡

Lake Hamilton Fire would like to extend a special thank you to Noelle Stephens- State Farm Agent for generously donating our 2026 Fire Prevention Week educational toolkits!

These valuable resources help us educate our community about fire safety, not just during Fire Prevention Week, but throughout the entire year.

This year’s theme is “Charge Into Fire Safety: Safe Charging Is a Superpower!” and focuses on the importance of safely charging and handling lithium-ion batteries.

From cell phones and laptops to power tools, toys, and e-bikes, lithium-ion batteries are part of our everyday lives. However, when these batteries become damaged, are improperly charged, or are used incorrectly, they can overheat, catch fire, or even explode.

Fire prevention starts with education, and these toolkits help us share important, potentially lifesaving information with our community.

We sincerely appreciate Noelle Stephens and State Farm for their continued generosity and commitment to public safety. Community partners like Noelle make a difference, and we are grateful for her support of Lake Hamilton Fire and the citizens we serve!

This morning, the Lake Hamilton Fire Special Operations Team joined multiple local, state, and federal agencies for a technical dive operation on Lake Hamilton after a report was received of a possible explosive device in the water.

Lake Hamilton Fire worked alongside Garland County Department of Emergency Management, Bentonville Police Department Bomb Squad divers, Arkansas State Police, the FBI, Pafford Emergency Medical Services, Garland County 911 Emergency Communications Center, and the Garland County Sheriff's Office Marine Patrol to safely locate and investigate the reported object.

After a coordinated investigation, the object was determined not to be an explosive device, and there is no threat to the public.

We appreciate the professionalism and teamwork demonstrated by every agency involved. Situations like this highlight the importance of strong interagency partnerships, specialized training, and the ability to bring multiple resources together when needed.

Lake Hamilton Fire was honored to play a small part in the 2026 Black Bass World Championship!

For the past two mornings, members of our Special Operations Team positioned one of our fire boats near the launch area to help slow and guide boats safely out of the area as competitors headed onto the water.

Our crews were also proud to wear their Breast Cancer Awareness shirts while supporting this world-class event and showing support for those affected by breast cancer.

We’re proud to support events that showcase Lake Hamilton and our community, and we appreciate everyone who helped make this event a success!

🚒 Annual Hydrant Testing & Maintenance

Lake Hamilton Fire will be conducting annual fire hydrant testing and maintenance in the Amity Road, Albright Road, & Central Ave areas today.

During testing, residents in the area may temporarily notice discolored or cloudy water due to changes in water flow. This is normal during hydrant testing and should clear after allowing your water to run for a short period.

We appreciate your patience as we complete this important annual maintenance to help ensure our hydrants are ready when needed.
