💜 There’s a lot of heart—and hard work—behind every bag of beads at TARC’s Buy-U Beads.

At TARC’s Buy-U Beads, Mardi Gras spirit lasts all year! Our team sorts and packages beads for another trip down the parade route while building job skills, friendships, and pride in their work.

Every bead donation and purchase helps support employment opportunities for adults with disabilities in Terrebonne Parish. Thank you for keeping the beads—and the opportunities—coming!

TARC’s millage renewal helps continue employment opportunities and essential services for the adults we serve.

Behind every jar of Houma Grown salsa are people proud of what they do—and a community that helps make it possible. 💚

Come see us at Bayou Country Cafe this Friday, October 16, from 11 AM–1 PM! Pick up your favorite salsa and meet the team whose hard work goes into every jar. Your support helps adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities learn new skills, earn a paycheck, and share their talents with our community.

These everyday opportunities mean so much to the people we serve and their families. On November 3, 2026, vote YES to renew TARC’s millage and help us continue providing employment opportunities, day programs, transportation, and essential services here in Terrebonne Parish.

A new school year, new skills, and new possibilities!

Terrebonne Arc proudly welcomes Vandebilt Catholic High School’s HOPE Program interns to Cajun Confections Bakery and TARC’s Cedar Chest Thrift Store!

Through hands-on experience, these students are learning teamwork, communication, food service, and retail skills that help prepare them for future employment. They’re already representing their school with pride, and we’re happy to be part of their journey.

Here’s to a wonderful school year of learning, growing, and discovering what’s possible!

TARC was proud to nominate and is honored to congratulate Blaise Pellegrin on receiving the Bernard R. Wagner Leadership Award from AAIDD (American Association on Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities).

The Terrebonne Parish Special Education Department truly understands how important it is to prepare students not only for the classroom, but for life beyond it.

By co-founding STEP (Students Transitioning to Employment Pathways) with TARC Executive Director Mary Lynn Bisland, TARC and the Terrebonne Parish School District Special Education Department are creating new opportunities for student internships and employment experiences right here in our community—helping students build skills and connections that continue beyond graduation and into adulthood.

As we approach TARC’s millage renewal on November 3, 2026, we remain committed to supporting these individuals and their families for years to come.

Congratulations, Blaise, and thank you for believing in what is possible for every student.
