🎄🎅 We know, we know... It's only October, and we're already talking about Christmas! 🎅🎄
But as we all know, the holiday season will be here before we know it! We're getting an early start on planning this year's Santa Fire Truck Parade to make sure we have everything in place to make it another memorable event for the children and families throughout our district.
With a little help from our wonderful community, we're hoping to make this year's parade even bigger and better than ever!
🎅🚒 **SANTA CLAUS IS COMING TO TOWN!** 🎄🎁
The **Grand Caillou Fire Department** is excited to announce our **Annual Santa Fire Truck Parade**, taking place on **Saturday, December 12, 2026!**
Santa will once again be making his way through our fire district aboard our fire boat, spreading Christmas cheer and handing out candy and goodies to the children along the way! 🍬🎅
🚒 **WHEN:** Saturday, December 12th
🕙 **TIME:** Beginning around 10:00 AM and continuing until late afternoon
📍 **WHERE:** Throughout our entire fire district!
This is an **all-day event**, allowing us to visit neighborhoods throughout the district in a single day rather than spreading the parade over several days. We want to make sure Santa gets a chance to visit as many children and families as possible!
🎁 **WE NEED YOUR HELP!** 🍬
To help make this year's parade extra special, we are asking our community, local businesses, and anyone wishing to contribute for **donations of individually wrapped candy, small toys, Mardi Gras throws, or other goodies** that Santa and our firefighters can hand out to the children.
**No donation is too big or too small!** Every contribution helps us bring a little extra Christmas magic to the children in our community, and anything you can donate would be greatly appreciated!
📍 **DONATION DROP-OFF LOCATIONS**
Donations can be dropped off at any of our three fire stations:
🚒 **Station #2 – Bobtown (Main Administrative Station)** ⭐ *Preferred Drop-Off Location*
🚒 **Station #1 – Ashland North**
🚒 **Station #3 – Dulac**
We appreciate your generosity and support in helping make this event a success!
🎅 **WOULD YOU LIKE TO BE SANTA THIS YEAR?** 🎅
We would also like to extend a special invitation to **anyone in our community who may be interested in taking on the role of Santa Claus for this year's parade!**
In previous years, we've had community members suggest individuals who they thought would make a great Santa. This year, we want to open that opportunity to anyone who might be interested in helping us spread a little Christmas magic!
Our parade is an all-day event, beginning around 10:00 AM and continuing into the late afternoon as we travel throughout the district.
**If you've ever wanted to put on the red suit, ride aboard a fire boat, and bring smiles to the faces of children throughout our community, we'd love to hear from you!** 🎅🚒
Anyone interested in volunteering to be Santa this year is encouraged to contact the department or send us a private message through our page.
❤️ **HELP US KEEP THIS CHRISTMAS TRADITION GOING!**
Our firefighters look forward to this event every year, and seeing the excitement on the children's faces makes it all worthwhile.
If you would like to **donate candy or throws, volunteer as Santa, or help support this event**, please contact the Grand Caillou Fire Department or send us a message through our page.
🎄🚒 **Please LIKE and SHARE this post to help us spread the word!**
From all of us at the **Grand Caillou Fire Department**, thank you for your continued support. We look forward to seeing everyone on December 12th!
🎅🎄🚒 **(EARLY) MERRY CHRISTMAS!** 🚒🎄🎅
