Trying to stretch your grocery budget between paychecks? A few simple habits can make a big difference!

✨ Shop your pantry first – Check what you already have before buying more.
✨ Try a pantry challenge – Build meals around items you already have on hand.
✨ Eat leftovers for lunch – Pack yesterday’s dinner instead of buying lunch.
✨ Have a freezer night – Use those frozen foods before they get forgotten!
✨ Avoid extra store trips – Every “quick trip” can add unexpected spending.
✨ Think outside the box – Breakfast foods can make an inexpensive dinner.
✨ Stretch meals with rice – Rice, pasta, and other affordable staples can help make meals go further.
✨ Make soup or casseroles – Great ways to use what you have and feed the family for less.

💡 FSS TIP: Before your next grocery trip, take a few minutes to look through your pantry, refrigerator, and freezer. Plan a few meals around what you already have—you may be surprised by how much you can save!
Small changes add up! Making your money work for you is an important step toward your financial goals. 💙
