We have a couple of Staff Shoutouts today, Ms. Mary Martin from Woodridge Middle and Ms. Emmy Walters from High Ridge Elementary.

About Ms. Martin: Mary has been with us for 9 years now. She has really stepped up and is helping us while the night lead is out. She comes in the mornings and checks the building for any cleaning issues. She is helping to inspect the areas to make sure we have provided a clean and safe learning environment. She is willing to stay and help with overtime on occasion since the night lead is out. Mary is always willing to do anything that is asked of her. She is very well liked by the staff and students at Woodridge Middle. Thank you Mary for all that you do.

About Ms. Walters: This year, Emmy has stepped up to mentor two of our new Kindergarten teachers. Drawing on her background as a Kindergarten teacher and her strong foundation in literacy instruction, she has accelerated their growth and success. Her decision to tackle demanding LETRS training to further refine her practice demonstrates the grit and dedication to growth we love to see in our team at HRE

Thank you both for all you do for our students, families, and staff!

It's time for more Staff Shoutouts from across the district! Today, we have one from the Administration Center, one who splits time between the Administration Center and Valley Middle, one from Woodridge Middle, and one from High Ridge Elementary! Read on about the wonderful work these four people do for our students, families, and staff.

Ms. Jamie McCullough, High Ridge Elementary: Jamie is truly the definition of calm, cool, and collected. She helps keep our school running smoothly, volunteers her time with PTO, greets our families with a warm smile, supports our staff, helps solve a million little (and big!) problems, and somehow makes it all look EASY!

Ms. Amber Krafft, Woodridge Middle School: Amber is new to our district this year, but with the way she has immersed herself within our school community, you would never know it. She works beautifully with a new student here at WMS who is absolutely blossoming in middle school, thanks to her commitment to inclusion and representation. She is a terrific team player and is genuinely invested in providing opportunities for learning and growth. I cannot wait to continue to see the progress that is made because of Ms. Krafft!

Ms. Christina Carden, Administration Center: Christina is one of those people whose work often happens behind the scenes, but the impact of what she does is felt throughout our entire district. She works tirelessly to make sure our Food Services staff have what they need to be successful—from helping ensure equipment is working properly to making sure staff have the supplies, resources, information, and support necessary to do their jobs. She is constantly looking for ways to solve problems, keep things organized, and make sure the department continues to run smoothly.

Ms. Jen Barr, Administration Center/Valley Middle School: Jen is a valued member of our custodial team. She cleans 3 hours for the Valley and 5 for NAC. Jen is well liked and respected by staff at both locations. She consistently goes above and beyond in her daily responsibilities and takes pride in maintaining a clean, welcoming environment. Jen is dependable, hardworking, and trustworthy, which is especially important given the areas and offices she is responsible for cleaning. Her dedication and positive attitude make her an important asset to the district. Jen has also been relied upon to help train employees on cafeteria duties at Valley Middle. Her willingness to take on additional responsibilities and assist with training demonstrates her knowledge, reliability, and commitment to helping the district and her coworkers succeed. Jen's positive attitude, strong work ethic and willingness to go above and beyond make her an important and trusted asset to the district.

Thank you to all of these incredible people for the wonderful things you do!
