As part of our infrastructure expansion this year, we added 4 JuiceBox stations in the Central Campus Garage and 3 dual port stations at the BRC Garage. Leveraging grant funding from , this helped us add 10 more spots to charge on campus.

All METRO services will be suspended Sunday, Feb. 14 starting at 7 p.m. due to the winter storm impacting the region. Services will remain suspended through Tuesday, Feb. 16, 2021 or until conditions improve. More at ridemetro.org. ^R

"METRO will temporarily suspend operations of all transit services beginning Monday, Feb. 15 through Tuesday, Feb. 16, 2021 due to freezing weather across the region. METRO HOV/HOT lanes and the METRO RideStore will also be closed. All METROLift trips scheduled for those dates will be cancelled. Customers should contact the METROLift Reservations Center to reschedule trips. METRO's Customer Service Call Center will remain open normal hours, 8 a.m.- 5 p.m. daily.
METRO's services will resume only when it is safe to do so, and this may be a gradual return based on weather conditions."

"The grace period for parking violations in Dedicated Bicycle Lanes ends January 13, 2021. ParkHouston will be enforcing the City’s No Parking in Dedicated Bicycle Lane ordinance with fines beginning on Thursday, January 14, 2021."
The grace period for parking violations in Dedicated Bicycle Lanes ends today. City of Houston ParkHouston will begin enforcing the No Parking in Dedicated Bicycle Lane ordinance. Any vehicle found parked in a bike lane will receive a $100 fine. Drivers who receive a citation may take an online Bicycle Friendly Driver’s Course to request a waiver of the fine. "The number of micromobility trips grew 62% from 2018 to 2019 due to the large increase in scooter trips. Shared micromobility refers to small fleets of fully or partially human-powered vehicles including bikes, e-bikes, and e-scooters. Trips on scooters more than doubled from 2018 to 2019 while bike trips increased by 3% and e-bike trips increased 54%."
