āā¦169 ā ā¦1,400: The Cost of Living Crisis Nigerians Canāt Ignoreā
Politicians Care About ElectionsāNot Hungry Children
Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso has dropped a bombshell ahead of the 2027 elections, warning that any party that fields a Southern candidate with a Northern VP is wasting time. He claims the Northern voting bloc is united and ready to take power from Bola Ahmed Tinubu. This isn't speculation, it's strategy. The 2027 elections won't be business as usual. Ignore this warning at your own peril.
If Princess truly invited Baba Ijesha under the pretense of a movie role but had a different motive involving a minor, then that raises very serious questions that cannot be ignored.
Justice must be fair, balanced, and based on truthānot emotions or public pressure. Every allegation deserves proper scrutiny, and every accused person deserves the right to be heard.
Baba Ijesha has come out to share his side of the story, and instead of shutting him down, Nigerians should listen objectively. Silencing one side does not bring justiceāit only creates doubt.
If there was any form of setup or manipulation involving a minor, that itself is a grave offense and should be investigated thoroughly. The law must apply equally to everyone involved.
At the end of the day, the truth must prevail. Justice is not about taking sidesāit is about facts, fairness, and accountability.

Comparing fuel prices in the U.S. and Nigeria without context is misleading.
In the U.S., $4 per gallon is about $1.05 per liter. But the real issue isnāt just price ā itās purchasing power.
U.S. minimum wage: $15/hour (~$2,400/month)
Nigeria minimum wage: ā¦70,000/month (~$45)
Now compare:
An average American buys fuel with 1 hour of work
A Nigerian needs several days of work to buy the same quantity
On top of that:
The U.S. has stable electricity, public transport, and social support systems
Nigerians rely heavily on fuel for power, transport, and survival
So no ā ā¦1550/liter is not comparable to $4/gallon.
Itās not about the number, itās about the economic reality behind it.
Stop defending bad policies with false comparisons.
