REMINDER: The Manvel Municipal court docket for tomorrow, January 27, 2026, has been CANCELLED.

Jurors and witnesses scheduled for Tuesday’s docket do NOT need to appear. If you are resummoned for jury duty, you will receive a new summons in the mail at a later date.

Attorneys and defendants with cases set on Tuesday’s docket will have their cases reset, and a new notice will be mailed to the address on file. For questions, visit www.cityofmanvel.com/courts.

Trunk or Treat is THIS, Friday, October 25, from 5 - 7 pm at City Hall, 20031 Morris Ave.! Join the Manvel Municipal Court for their annual Halloween event promoting traffic safety. This year’s event will have a host of participating local businesses and community memebers all handing out treats for little tricksters! We can’t wait to see you there. 👻

Annual Trunk or Treat on October 25 Trunk or Treat is back, and it's bigger and spookier than ever!

We attended our first Texas Teen Court Competition & our team secured 1st place!!! We beat 9 other Teen Courts for this spot! These students represented Manvel well today!
A huge thank you to the kids for the hard work they put in, parents for support & the staff, judges, officers and volunteers who support this program!

Tuesday evening we were joined by guest judges who gave valuable feedback and wisdom to our group of Teen Court students traveling to Arlington this weekend to represent our City on the Rise as the only Teen Court in Brazoria County! Present was Brazoria County Sheriff Bo Stallman, Manvel Director of Public Safety Keith Traylor, Sgt. N. Peters, Judge S. Imam, Mayor Dan Davis, City Attorney Bobby Gervais, City Secretary Tammy Bell and Manvel Volunteer Chi Nguyen. Thank you for supporting these talented students!

We are proud to present our first round of participants for the Texas Teen Court Competition. These students are Senior Attorneys and will be traveling to Arlington to represent the Manvel Teen Court and compete against many other Teen Courts in Texas.

Manvel Teen Court students had a busy week and attended 2 trainings Monday & Wednesday. Also, Thursday night kicked off the new session where our senior attorneys showed up to represent juveniles with citations. We are proud of all these students who take time out of the their busy schedules to make a positive impact in Manvel.
