Santa came today for our Little York firefighters!
We will be placing the Seek Reveal Fire Pro X Thermal Imaging Cameras on every riding position in the apparatus for the entire department! These cameras allow firefighters to see areas of heat through smoke, darkness, or heat-permeable barriers.
The Seek Reveal Fire Pro X is a personal thermal imaging camera that allows firefighters the ability to search through smoke for heat signatures and helps expose fire that may be hidden or in a concealed space. Equipping every firefighter with a personal thermal imaging camera can potentially save more lives and protect property by increasing two vital parts of an emergency call, speed and safety. We would like to thank our ESD board of commissioners for allowing us to equip our firefighters with this technology.
