Pulitzer Prize winning author and UH distinguished professor of Hispanic Studies will be visiting Lone Star College-University Park to share her reflections on her book Liliana’s Invincible Summer. In her discussion, she will highlight the challenges of domestic violence-especially for our young women. It’s free and open to the public!

Thank you to all the campaign volunteers, donors, and voters! Our hard work paid off and it would not have been possible without you.

During the pandemic many of our students experienced hardships. I’m proud to say that we have collectively allocated over 130 million student aid to help curb any financial hardships. This is why I’m running for re-election to the Lone Star College Board of Trustees. To continue helping students reach their potential both thorough education and financially.
