Congressman Sylvester Turner was a public servant to the city of Houston for nearly 40 years. Thank you to the former mayor and state rep for his service. Our condolences to his family. He will be sorely missed.

Thank you to clubs in action member for listening to the perspectives of new Texans as they offer their insights on the election along with guest speaker Lillie Schechter. We welcome the chance to expand our community and outreach as we forge ahead.

Elections come and go but community continues. Thanks to the for hosting this meeting celebrating new faces and rewarding hard working volunteers.

We get by with a little help from our friends. Thank you to all of our clubs and volunteers that have helped us out (some since the dog days of summer) in this monumental election season. Thank you to the candidates and elected representatives who continue to put in the work even when not on the ballot. Democracy is not self correcting. The work goes on and it is up to us to build trust with one another. We are so proud of the community we have created here and are ready to move forward!
