Mental Health Awareness Month brings attention to the role mental health and recovery support play in building stability. It also reflects the work individuals put in every day to keep moving forward.

Our clients are doing the hard work, showing up for counseling, building routines, and taking steps toward employment and stability. That consistency builds momentum, and over time, it creates real change in people’s lives.

For many people returning home, stepping back into the workforce means navigating barriers that aren’t always visible. What stands out is the determination to keep showing up and move forward.

At CRR, our clients are building skills, gaining experience, and creating new paths for themselves every day.

This National Reentry Week, we’re recognizing the strength it takes to start again and the commitment our clients bring to their next chapter.

After losing her grandmother, mother, and uncle in close succession, grief began to shape Gail's daily life. Depression and alcoholism followed, making it difficult to hold onto stability.
For a time, she did what she could to survive.

When she was ready for something different, Gail reached out and connected with CRR. With support and her own commitment to change, she began rebuilding her routine and focusing on her health.

Today, she has a place of her own and the independence she worked hard to reclaim. Her message is simple: "Get in the light. Get motivated. Find the resources. Keep going.”
