Taking Holidays Orders

Had a wonderful time and met the two dopest podcast host at the Houston Meet and Greet. that’s doing great work in the community. To watch them grow from barber shop talk to grown intentional men has been beautiful. They are down to earth and cool in person as they are on the show. Can’t wait to have game night with my new deck of Hardly in Love Cards door prize for being the 1st person in the building 🥰

Anyone that know my education story know that when I started in 2013. That if I didn’t have a backbone they would have ran me out. I was constantly discouraged and even flat out told I didn’t know what I was doing plus I’m not a fit for the students. Little did the enemy know that I’d become one of the most loved, respected, and impactful educators to grace the halls at SHS.

Help me educate the next generation of up and coming chefs and food service culinarians. Let’s make history by offering and starting the first CTE Culinary Scholarship in Spring ISD to mark 10 yrs in culinary education. All proceeds go to
Chef LaToya Larkin scholarship.

You have to get uncomfortable to eventually get comfortable. Playing it safe will keep you right where you’re at comfy and cushy speaking language “Whew Chile Everybody Ain’t Able”.

You are able however you just have a circle of people who don’t pour into you to activate your belief system 🥰

Mindset Monday: Set that pride aside and get a mentor. Especially someone WINNING that’s doing what you’re doing…lean in for the secret “winners want to see other people win and only want to be around winners”

Been there done that old heads you can learn and stay sharp with a younger mentor. Though I teach kids and old enough to be their mother. I learn so much from them to stay current. 360 learning they learn from me like I learn from them.

Didn’t get the grant, but got another potential retailer placement partnership, free minority certification, guaranteed funding approval, and other guaranteed acceptance into programs.
