The 72nd IBCT would like to thank all those who came out to support our Chalk the Walk event yesterday. We had a good turnout that left many great messages. It was a great feeling as I walked up to the Westheimer Armory this morning reading all the positive notes left behind by Soldiers.

Sexual trauma claims by veterans wrongly denied by VA, investigation finds Last year alone, the investigation found the agency wrongly denied as many as 1,300 claims due to insufficient training and oversight. That left potentially thousands of veterans suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder without benefits, a VA inspector general investigation found.

Thank you to all those who came by to make "Chalk the Walk" a success as well as those showing their support on Denim Day. Making a difference is possible, but it starts with ourselves.

INTERVENE

When I recognize a threat to my fellow Soldiers, I will have the personal courage to INTERVENE and prevent sexual assault. I will condemn acts of sexual harassment. I will not abide obscene gestures, language, or behavior. I am a Warrior and a member of a team. I will INTERVENE.
