Meet Kirkwood Watson! He is a civil and minor site development plans examiner. Kirkwood reviews civil development plans and minor site or non-substantial improvement plans to ensure they comply with Harris County regulations. He has worked with the County for 24 years. “I enjoy being able to use the expertise I gained from various groups I worked in over the years to expedite permit applications and requests,” says Kirkwood.

Meet Fredrick Assabill! He is a civil development plans examiner. Fredrick reviews commercial development projects to ensure designers and engineers follow Harris County guidelines so the infrastructure is safe for the public. He has worked with the County for six months. “I enjoy being exposed to different projects where I am constantly learning in a supportive environment in which staff are always there to help when I need it,” says Fredrick.
