Dear Friends,

If there was ever a time to take action for the Recovering America’s Wildlife Act—it’s NOW. The U.S. House of Representatives is expected to vote on this landmark, bipartisan wildlife conservation legislation next week, likely early next week. Please contact your U.S. Representatives by Monday!

Your phone call and message to your U.S. House Representative will help to ensure that our Texas delegation—from both sides of the aisle—vote YES on the Recovering America's Wildlife Act. If you've already reached out to your U.S. House Rep. about this legislation, please do so again. Ask your colleagues, friends, and family to reach out to their U.S. House Representative too, no matter where they live in the United States.

Here’s what to do:

(1) Find out who your U.S. House Representative is by typing in your mailing address here: https://www.house.gov/representatives/find-your-representative

(2) Look up your Rep's website and send the following message through their contact page. The message is:

Please vote YES for the bipartisan Recovering America’s Wildlife Act. It’s good for fish and wildlife, good for business, and good for Texans.

(3) Also call your Rep's D.C. office phone number and leave the same message. You can call the U.S. Capital Switchboard at 202-225-3121 and have them connect you.

(4) Spread the word on your social media accounts and by emailing or texting your friends. Share our action alert posts on Facebook and Twitter.

The Recovering America’s Wildlife Act is our best chance at reversing course for thousands of declining species across the country—and here in Texas too. If passed in both chambers of Congress and signed into law, it would be the most significant wildlife conservation funding bill passed in over a half century.

YOU can be part of conservation history and help to ensure future generations have the same wildlife opportunities we've had by being a voice for wildlife today.

Thank you for taking action for Texas wildlife!
