Joshua Rosales for Houston ISD School Board, Dist. 9

On behalf of our campaign, we want to congratulate Myrna S Guidry on her election as HISD District 9 Board Trustee. We wish Myrna all the best in her term, because her success is the success of our children. May the Lord provide her wisdom and strength to impact our children's and community's future and uplift District 9.

To our supporters, it was not the will of the Lord for us to win at this time, but thank you, for believing in our vision, praying for us, donating your time, finances and allowing me to enhance the public discourse in the advancement of our children's future.

Although our campaign was not victorious, we will continue to invest our time in and efforts into enhancing the quality of education in our public schools so that every student in HISD has a world class education and parents are involved in the process. God bless all of you!

De parte de nuestra campaña, queremos felicitar a Myrna S Guidry en ser elegida Miembra de la Junta Directiva de HISD Distrito 9. Le deseamos a Myrna muchos éxitos en su periodo, porque el éxito de ella es el éxito de nuestros niños. Que el Senor provea sabiduría y fortaleza para impactar el futuro de nuestros niños y comunidad y hacer ascender al Distrito 9.

A todos que nos apoyaron, no era la voluntad del Señor que ganáramos en este momento, pero gracias, por creer en nuestra visión, orar por nosotros, donar su tiempo, finanzas y darme la oportunidad de agregarle al discurso público con el motivo de traer desarrollo al futuro de nuestros niños.

Aunque nuestra campaña no fue victoriosa, continuaremos invertiendo nuestro tiempo y esfuerzos en mejorar la calidad de la educación en nuestras escuelas publicas para que cada estudiante de HISD tenga una educación de primer nivel mundial y los padres sean involucrados en el proceso. Dios los bendiga!

Last day to vote tomorrow, Tues, Nov 2! As Hobby Elementary Dual Language Academy PTO President for the past 2.5 years, we ensured our school had the highest rating of Platinum for Family Friendly Schools and are one of the few PTOs in District 9. As your future Board member, I will ensure all of our District 9 schools achieve this status and bring parents back to campus and in our kids' education.

Como Presidente de la Organización de Padres PTO de la Primaria y Academia de Idioma Doble Hobby por los ultimos 2.5 años, aseguramos que nuestra escuela tuviera el reconocimiento mas alto de Platino para ser una Escuela con Ambiente Familiar y unos de los pocos PTOs en el Distrito 9. Como su futuro miembro de la Junta Directiva, voy a asegurar que todas nuestras escuelas logren este estatus y traer de nuevo a nuestros padres a la escuela y en la educación de nuestros niños.
