Last Weekend Hcu’s YCT chapter had the privilege to be in attendance at the Texas Right for Life 50th annual gala at the Marriott Marque.
We heard from amazing Pro-Life speakers including Actor Kirk Cameron who expressed the importance for us to promote the Pro-life idea to protect the most innocent and vulnerable life.

A huge thank you to Josh Craddock for last night’s talk! We learned a lot about the history of abortion, how the recent Dobbs decision overturned Roe v Wade and similar decisions, and how we can make abortion illegal for good.

Eco- anxiety is a phenomenon spreading among young people. Like some fads, eco-anxiety is trendy, contagious and, in some heartbreaking cases, deadly serious. According to a recent survey, 75% of young people report believing that “the future is frightening” because of climate change. BUT- is that the truth? Especially in the college setting, students are often faced with debates on climate change and don’t feel confident in the facts or the answers, because like a lot of things, only one side is being heard.

This presentation is full of facts and data, answering many of the questions being debated in the news. This presentation provides the tools needed to discover the realities of the climate debate AND a hope for the future that is not often heard over the “sky is falling” mentality of many in the climate crisis circles.
