City Ambulance Service

Today, City Ambulance Service had the honor of hosting the EMTF6 West Cooridor Meeting. It was a great opportunity to connect, collaborate, and catch up on everything related to emergency management across our region with all our community partners.

We had productive discussions focused on preparedness, coordination, and strengthening our response capabilities. Attendees also had the chance to tour the FBCEMS AMBUS, highlighting the critical resources available to support large-scale incidents and community needs.

We appreciate everyone who joined us and continue to value the strong partnerships that keep our communities safe and ready.

Today was a somber day as we laid one of our own to rest. Casey was not only an amazing father, but an extraordinary paramedic whose heart for service defined his life. He answered countless calls, stepped into people’s worst moments, and brought calm, compassion, and skill when it mattered most. To his patients, he was a lifeline. To his coworkers, he was a trusted partner, a steady presence, and a true professional.

But beyond the uniform, Casey’s greatest pride was his family. He spoke often of his children, carried their photos, and worked every long shift with them in mind. The same strength and dedication he showed on the job, he poured into being a loving father and role model.

Today we honored not just a paramedic, but a man of integrity, kindness, and unwavering commitment. His impact will live on in the lives he saved, the colleagues he mentored, and the family who carries his legacy forward.

Rest easy, Casey. We’ll take it from here.
