Recently, students participated in and 's sweepstakes competition and won a VIP experience with the ! Along with SBISD's Child Nutrition Services, students participated in activities that promote healthy eating and exercise knowledge. Students had lunch in the Texan's team cafe and took part in a private tour of NRG Stadium. Way to go, students! 🎉🏈

Building Resilience
Adversity is defined as a grave or persistent difficulty, misfortune, or tragedy. For example, the Covid 19 pandemic has been a time of adversity for the entire world. Resilience is the process of adapting well in the face of adversity, trauma, tragedy, or significant source of stress. It is the ability to not only successfully overcome serious challenges, but to grow from the experiences.
Bring your family and come join WAIS PTA on April 12 from 6-7 pm in the cafeteria for Part 2 of our Healthy Minds program: Building Resilience. Learn how your family can build resilience together while you enjoy pizza dinner and door prizes. Live Spanish translation provided.
