Today!!

🚨 REMINDER: Statewide Alert System Drill – TODAY (April 2, 2026)
The Texas Division of Emergency Management (TDEM) will conduct a statewide test of public warning systems today from 10 AM–12 PM to evaluate how emergency alerts perform across Texas.

⚠️ Fort Bend County Residents:
Fort Bend County is NOT participating (our local test was completed Nov. 5, 2025).
You may still receive alerts if you’re in Sugar Land, Missouri City, Fulshear or Katy, as these cities will participate independently. If you’re traveling throughout Texas for Easter weekend, you may also receive test alerts.

These alerts are only a drill, and no action is required. We remain committed to ensuring reliable systems to keep our community informed and safe.

Reminder!! Tomorrow, April 2nd, there will be a statewide drill between 10am - 12:30pm.

It is just a test!
