Hot cars can be deadly! The Red Cross strongly advises never leaving children or pets alone in a car, as internal temperatures can rapidly become deadly. They also recommend staying hydrated, spending time indoors in air conditioning, and checking on vulnerable individuals.

Reminder, we spring forward at 2 a.m. this Sunday. We're losing an hour of sleep, but the sun sets an hour later, too.

Remember when you move your clocks forward an hour, also check your smoke detector batteries and expiration dates on your emergency supplies. If you don't have an emergency kit start one today.
