Ute Park Fire forces Philmont to cancel treks through July 14 Philmont Scout Ranch announced Monday that the still-burning Ute Park Fire has forced it to cancel all backcountry treks from June 8 to July 14.

In case you missed it, our beloved Philmont Scout Ranch in on fire. The whole middle section has been burned. Buildings in the Cimmaroncito Camp have been burned.

As long as you are registered and have paid before then you will receive the pass. As of today it is at least a 3 month backlog but the paid receipt is suppose to suffice until the card is received..
