Have you thought about how your faith and generosity can continue to touch lives for years to come? Through a legacy gift such as a bequest, a beneficiary designation, or other planned giving option, you can make a lasting impact such as helping neighbors in crisis find hope, stability, and dignity, even after you are gone. You can:

• Tax Benefits: Planned giving can offer significant tax advantages, allowing you to maximize your legacy.
• Empower Change: Your generosity supports missions that promote hope and compassion in our community.
• Peace of Mind: Rest in the comfort of knowing your charitable wishes are in place..

Thinking about another way to give? Donating appreciated stock or mutual funds can help your gift go further and reduce taxes. When securities are donated before they are sold, capital gains taxes can often be reduced or avoided. That means more of your gift can help neighbors in our community who are facing hard times.
Getting started is simple. Visit whamministries.org/donate-stock to give through the WHAM National Christian Foundation (NCF) Giving Fund. You can also contact us at [email protected] if you would like more details about donating stock.
Your generosity will help provide food, financial help, and support for West Houston families at the time they need it most.

We are grateful to partner with District F Council Member Tiffany Thomas on this effort to serve individuals facing homelessness in West Houston.
Please help us spread the word so more people can access the support they need.

We were grateful to attend Leaders Unscripted hosted by United Way of Greater Houston and presented by CenterPoint Energy.
Our team had the opportunity to hear from Memorial Assistance Ministries (MAM) President & CEO Sonja Gee and Greater Houston Partnership President & CEO Steve Kean during an insightful conversation on leadership, collaboration, and serving the community with purpose.
We left encouraged by the honest discussion around teamwork, adaptability, and the importance of building strong partnerships to create lasting impact across Houston.
Thank you to United Way Greater Houston for bringing together nonprofit and business leaders committed to strengthening our community. We appreciate the opportunity to learn, connect, and grow alongside others working to make a difference.

In Loving Memory of Edna E. Renfrow-Brown
Today we honor the life and legacy of Edna E. Renfrow-Brown — beloved volunteer, generous donor, and a true light in our WHAM family.
With heavy hearts, we say goodbye to our dear Edna, a treasured friend, devoted volunteer, and one of WHAM's greatest champions.
Edna didn't just give, she showed up. Year after year, with warmth, grace, and a servant's heart, she helped transform lives right here in West Houston.
Her legacy lives in every family she helped lift. We are forever grateful. 🕊️
Our love and deepest condolences to her family and all who knew her.

Today, we launched our unhoused clinic alongside District F Council Member Tiffany Thomas’ office to care for some of our most vulnerable neighbors.
Men and women experiencing homelessness were able to register for WHAM’s wraparound services, receive emergency groceries, and connect with partner services for added support.
We’re grateful for everyone who helped serve with compassion and care. If you’d like to help us continue this work, your gift can provide practical support and hope for neighbors in need.
