Heroes Helping Hands Food Drive

Community Fire is proud to join local fire departments and the American Legion for the Heroes Helping Hands Food Drive, October 14 through November 14!

We are collecting nonperishable food donations to support local food pantries and help families right here in our community!

RESIDENTIAL STRUCTURE FIRE 15000 BLK GRAY RIDGE DR

At approximately 4:30 p.m. today, CVFD was dispatched to a residential structure fire in the 15000 block of Gray Ridge Drive.

Crews arrived on scene and found fire coming from the roof of the building. All occupants had exited the structure prior to our arrival, with no reported injuries. One firefighter was treated on scene for heat related concerns. The Red Cross was contacted and is assisting individuals who were impacted by the fire. The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Fire Marshal’s Office.

If it is safe, move the device away from anything that can catch fire. A damaged battery can overheat and start a fire.
