This month’s C-DAB meeting brought together community leaders, law enforcement, and local businesses to discuss public safety, homelessness, and domestic violence. Thank you to City Council Member Twila Carter and our law enforcement partners Office of Constable Alan Rosen, Harris County Constable Precinct 1 and Houston Police Department for sharing valuable insights and updates that help strengthen our community.

We want to give a big THANK YOU to everyone who participated in the Target Success Back to School Supply Drive!

And a special thank you to these amazing partners, Target Store Houston-Nw the Houston Police Department, and Office of Constable Alan Rosen, Harris County Constable Precinct 1!
We were able to provide supplies to Eisenhower Ninth Grade School, YES Prep White Oak Elementary, Ermel PTO, Epps Island Elementary, and Clifton Middle School.

We had a very informative C-DAB meeting this month with guest speakers Officer Goodrick and Senior Officer Elizondo from the Houston Police Department Community Engagement Unit!

They shared on helpful tips on how to protect yourself from being a victim of a crime.

One of the main topics was burglary of motor vehicles and motor vehicle theft, here were some things discussed...

▪️Stay aware of your surrounding
▪️Lock vehicle and never leave it running or leave keys inside
▪️Never leave valuables or cash in plain sight
▪️Park in high traffic areas that are well-lit
