Montrose parking study reveals 60% of respondents consider parking options when deciding to go out Officials with the Montrose Tax Increment Reinvestment Zone conducted a parking study from October 2025 to January 2026 to hear from residents, business owners and visitors of the neighborhood on how parking plays a role in their everyday lives and decisions.

The Montrose Boulevard Improvement Project is nearing completion. Construction is wrapping up over the next few weeks. Single lane closures may be needed. The streetlights are progressing towards being turned on. The trees are being watered and maintained.

The survey results from the Parking Survey are available online. More than 1,200 people took the survey. See where and times of day people thought there were parking problems. Learn that and more from the in-depth survey results.

Parking availability and demand
Heat maps (e.g., not enough parking, too much parking, unwanted vehicles being parked)

Thanks to Office of Council Member Abbie Kamin for getting funding forn this drainage project in the Roseland community. The Montrose TIRZ will partner with the City on this project and contribute $525,000 for the sidewalk reconstruction work.

Houston's District C moves forward with drainage projects, study for new trail Houston officials approved a pair of projects that would improve drainage infrastructure and expand access to green space in District C.

The construction on Montrose Blvd. from Allen Parkway to W. Clay is nearing the end. Here's the final construction update that will be in effect through mid-April. If you have any questions, please email [email protected].
