📚⭐☕ Our 2nd Grade STARBOOKS Literacy Event was a HUGE success! ☕⭐📚

At Greenwood Forest Elementary, our little readers are becoming BIG storytellers! 💚💛

Our amazing 2nd graders welcomed parents, staff, and fellow students to STARBOOKS, where they proudly shared their very own writing stories with everyone who visited. 📝📖 Seeing our students build confidence, share their creativity, and celebrate their hard work made this event extra special!

Of course, no STARBOOKS experience would be complete without a refreshing treat! 🥛💧 Guests enjoyed chocolate milk and flavored water while celebrating our young authors and their love of literacy.

A HUGE shout-out to our incredible 2nd grade team for creating such a fun, engaging experience that brought our school community together! 🐻💚

At Greenwood Forest Elementary, we believe that when we inspire a love of reading and writing, we open the door to BIG dreams! ✨

📚 Little Readers. Big Dreams. One Grizzly Family! 🐻💚💛

📚 Attendance Matters! 💚
Did you know that running an elementary school, like ours, costs more than $501,000 MONTHLY? Multiply that by 33 in Klein ISD, and you’ll see the numbers add up for our district quickly.

That’s why it’s important our students show up to school every day, so that we can stay on top of costs across the district and keep our learning environment great. Families, please take advantage of our Plan Ahead Calendar: https://kisd.us/PlanAhead

Attendance matters.

💚💛 Celebrating Dr. Price! 🐻✨

This National Principals Month, we are celebrating our amazing, enthusiastic, and truly inspiring principal, Dr. Price! 💚💛

Dr. Price is a bright light at Greenwood Forest Elementary—bringing energy, joy, and purpose to everything she does. Her passion for our students shines through in every decision, every celebration, and every moment she spends connecting with our Grizzlies. 🐻

Students are always first—and that commitment is at the heart of her leadership. She creates a campus where students are known, valued, encouraged, and given every opportunity to soar. ✈️✨

From the classroom to the front office, from big celebrations to the everyday moments that make Greenwood Forest special, Dr. Price reminds us what it means to lead with heart, enthusiasm, and a relentless belief in kids.

We are so grateful to have her leading our Greenwood Forest Grizzly family! 💚💛
