An interesting and informative historical presentation by the Honorable Ken Wise made yesterdayโs Greater Houston Pachyderm Club meeting truly special. On San Jacinto Day, we proudly celebrated the 190th anniversary of this monumental battle for Texas independence.
We also took time to recognize and toast the strong, pioneering women of that era whose contributions helped shape history. In addition, we honored the memory of the late SJ Swanson, who began the cherished tradition of inviting Ken Wise to speak to our club each San Jacinto Day.
A meaningful day of history, remembrance, and appreciation!
