These 2025 statistics represent real people, families, and stories. Today, Shield Bearer sees approximately 350 people each week, yes…a week! We’re grateful for what God has done, what He’s doing, and what He will do.
For 21 years, we’ve provided professional counseling with one firm promise: no one is turned away because they can’t pay. From marriages and families to teens, veterans, first responders, and survivors of trauma, we get to walk alongside people through some of life’s hardest moments.
We serve through our main office, locations throughout the Houston area, and virtual counseling. We collaborate with amazing community organizations, serve in firehouses, and offer pet-assisted and art-assisted therapy to help people heal.
