Earlier, Harris County Sheriff's Office deputies responded to the 6600 block of Rubilee Lane, near Smith Road and Old Humble.

Upon arrival, units located a large party with three gunshot victims. One man was confirmed deceased on-scene and two others were transported to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries. CSI and Homicide Detectives are responding to the scene.

Arrest update:

On the early morning of 5/29/26, Pct 4 deputies responded to a call for service at a complex located in the 21800 block of Northcrest, near Kuykendahl.

Upon arrival, units made entry into a unit and found an adult woman unresponsive and suffering from possible stab wounds. The victim was transported to a hospital where she was pronounced deceased.

While deputies were rendering aid to the victim, they observed a man climbing down from the unit on a ladder. The man was subsequently taken into custody. The man, Aaron McFarland (12/7/94) was taken into custody.

The victim was identified as Abriana Hall (27).

Harris County Sheriff's Office CSI and Homicide Detectives responded the scene. McFarland was charged with Murder in connection with the stabbing death of Abriana Hall. McFarland was booked in the Harris County Jail.

This morning, the Harris County Sheriff's Office Auto Theft Detectives partnered with the Beaumont Police to recover a stolen side-by-side and return it to its owner — all before the day even got started. The investigation is ongoing.
