The kids at The Falls of Bellaire are getting ready for Halloween with a fun project. Arts and crafts are a favorite for the kids.

Before the summer ended the kids from the Falls of Bellaire Resource Center were able to enjoy an outing. Skating at Funplex was a learning experience and fun was had by all.

We recently did Cupcakes and Calendars at Linda Vista. With a new month and school starting we want to be sure everyone knows about all the upcoming events at the Linda Vista Resource Center.

Alex Curless is a soon to be senior at Cypress Fall High School. He is currently our summer intern at Linda Vista Apts. He is doing a great job at teaching the kids how to play Chess.

Being a part of your community is important. Linda Vista is stepping up and taking charge. Here are some pics of Linda Vista hosting a Crime watch meeting. Texans Together helped with translation. It was a great turn out.

Please help Texans Together welcome our three new summer interns. Dominique Lemond, Shondreya McDonald and Anh Tran. These young ladies are also looking forward to taking the Empower Houston Leaders training.

It's great and fun to work with the Brazilian Arts Foundation at the Falls of Bellaire Resource Center. Kids are learning and enjoying the activities! It's been awesome to see kid's growing appreciation of a different culture. Great Activities!

Texans Together and Brazilian Arts Foundation are working together to bring a little bit of Brazil to kids at the Falls of Bellaire Resource Center. The Resource Center is part of Texans Together's Apartments Are Communities that has teamed up with Harris County Department of Education CASE (Center for Afterschool, Summer, and Enrichment for Kids) to bring this activity to the kids. Every Friday, the kids at Falls of Bellaire are learning about Brazil and Brazilian dance through energetic teaching. The classes take place after the Resource Center is normally empty, but the program is so popular kids are finishing their homework and then participating. The kids are engaged, active and excited about the chance to be a part of the program. We are so happy to have the Brazilian Arts Foundation helping the kids discover more of the world.
