September 11, 2001. We Remember.

25 years later, we remember the 2,977 lives lost on September 11, 2001.

We remember the 343 firefighters, 60 law enforcement officers, and other first responders who made the ultimate sacrifice while answering the call. We also remember the thousands of innocent civilians who never made it home that day.

We remember the families who lost husbands, wives, mothers, fathers, sons, daughters, brothers, sisters, and friends. We remember the survivors and the countless people whose lives were forever changed.

For those of us who wear the uniform, September 11 is a reminder of what service truly means. It is a commitment to stand together, answer the call, and put others before ourselves.

Today, we honor every life lost, every family affected, and every person who showed courage in the face of unimaginable tragedy.

We remember. We honor. We will never forget.

🚒 IMPORTANT REMINDER 🐾

We recently had a dog dropped off at our fire station. While we will do what we can to help, let's be clear:

WE ARE A FIRE DEPARTMENT, NOT AN ANIMAL SHELTER.

We do not take in stray, lost, or unwanted animals. If you pick up an animal, you assume responsibility for that animal. You cannot drop it at the fire station and make it our responsibility.

Need a dog scanned for a microchip? We can help with that. But once we scan it, the person who found the animal is responsible for taking it with them and contacting animal control, a shelter, rescue, or the owner.

Please do not drop animals at the fire station.

Our job is responding to emergencies, not housing animals.
