🚨 NEW GOAL ALERT 🚨

Less than an hour after putting up the new basketball goal, we already had neighborhood kids like Khalel out here putting it to good use 🏀🔥

This court is here for the community, and we’d love to see it get used! All we ask is that everyone helps keep it clean and picks up after themselves before heading home.

Also… there are a few firefighters around here who still THINK they’ve got game 👀😂 So if you see them outside, feel free to challenge them to a little 1-on-1.

Just don’t be surprised if they ask for an ice pack afterward 🚑🤣

Westlake Fire Department had the honor of hosting students from McDonald Junior High and Seven Lakes Junior High as they packed hygiene kits for the HART Agency. The students collected hygiene care items and worked together to turn those donations into kits that will support members of our community in need. We’re proud to see young leaders stepping up and serving others

Great day at Mayde Creek Junior High Career Day! Students had the opportunity to learn about careers in emergency services and practice CPR, gaining hands-on, life-saving skills. We loved seeing their excitement and engagement!

At 2:23 a.m., SQ41 assisted ESD 48 with a working residential fire at a two-story home

🚨 Puppy Found at the Station 🚨

A puppy was dropped off at the station yesterday. If you are interested in providing a home, please reach out to us directly and we can help connect you. At this time, we have no information about the dog other than the pictures below.

That said, we want to be very clear: the fire department is not a drop-off point for animals. We are not an animal shelter or rescue. The station is monitored by security cameras, and any animal left here, along with any information captured, will be turned over to the appropriate authorities.

If you are genuinely interested in helping this dog, please contact us as soon as possible. Your assistance is greatly appreciated.
