🚌🚂 Another great bus trip in the books!

Yesterday, we got up bright and early and headed to Johnstown to catch the Amtrak to Altoona! Along the way, we slowed down at the iconic Horseshoe Curve for some unforgettable views from the train. 🚆🍂

Once in Altoona, we visited the Railroaders Memorial Museum, enjoyed a delicious buffet lunch at Prime Sirloin, and then headed to the Horseshoe Curve National Historic Landmark to experience it up close!

Of course, we couldn’t head home without a sweet stop at the Boyer Candy Factory Outlet for some treats! 🍫

Don’t toss those Halloween pumpkins when October is over — SAVE THEM & SMASH THEM! 🙌

Bring your old Halloween pumpkins to Arnold Park and have some fun SMASHING them! 🎃🔨 All smashed pumpkins will be composted right here on Township property, helping keep them out of the landfill and putting them to good use! ♻️🌱

🚌🍎 Another great bus trip in the books yesterday 10/2/26!

We had a little rain on the way there, but the skies cleared and we ended up with a beautiful fall day!

Our first stop was the Drake Well Museum, where we learned all about the discovery and birth of the American oil industry. From there, we boarded the Oil Creek & Titusville Railroad for a 90-minute scenic ride through the beautiful fall landscape. 🚂🍂

Then it was off to Franklin’s Annual Applefest! 🍎 We spent the afternoon exploring downtown Franklin, shopping tons of vendors, touring local stores and churches, grabbing some great food, and enjoying the fall weather.
