Our Baylor Bulldogs represented at the 🌿2026 CELF Student Symposium🌿

6th, 7th, and 8th graders showcased their science investigation projects with schools from across Houston. We sincerely thank the Children's Environmental Literacy Foundation for their invitation and their generous support of our programs at Baylor College of Medicine Academy at Ryan.

Congratulations to our 8th grade Bulldog, ✨️Londyn Christmas✨️, for winning the 🏆Junior Scientist Award🏆 in the 2026 Genes in Space contest for space biology research proposals! Her proposal on circadian rhythm protein is one of the five best among middle school entires across the entire US!

Congratulations also to her mentor, Mr. Herbolario, and to her family! Way to go, Londyn!

Our BCMAR Bulldogs are on a roll! ✨Congratulations️✨️ to 7th graders Guadalupe, Dhanashi, Saneyi, and Konnor, and 6th grader Ariel for winning 🏆Honorable Mention🏆 in the 2026 Force of Nature contest!

Force of Nature is a research competition on native plants organized by the Native Plant Society of Texas.

Congratulations also to their mentor, Mr. Jude Xerxes Herbolario, for a great job!

Congratulations to Mr. Jude Xerxes Herbolario and his 8th grade Bioscience students for winning the ✨️Constellation Award✨️ in the 2026 Genes in Space contest!

Genes in Space is a national competition for space biology proposals focused on long-term spaceflight and experiments in the ISS.

8th grade Bulldog, Ethan Theis, was recently recognized for his entry to the 6️⃣7️⃣th Science of Engineerinf Fair of Houston! He recieves the 🏆Naval Science Award from the US Navy's Office of Naval Research.

Our 8th grade Bulldogs 🐾 enjoyed a fun night during the 8️⃣th Grade Dance 💃🕺 at Eldorado Ballroom!

Special thanks to our wonderful parents, teachers, partners, administrators, 8th grade dean Dr. John Santos, and Principal Mr. Klinger Casquete for making this event a blast!
