Rice University Delivery Services and US Postal Contract Station

Delivery Services handles all mail for the central campus. A USPS Contract Station and FedEx shipping center for personal mail and shipping needs.

Student mail is delivered directly to each college by the United States Postal Service. We handle an average of 8,000 pieces of incoming mail, 8,000 pieces of outgoing mail, and 1,500 pieces of campus mail every day. Delivery Services acts as a liaison for Rice University with the U.S. Post Office, Federal Express, and UPS. Services provided include:

The Rice University Campus Post Office closed Tuesday March 17, 2020 until further notice in response to the Coronavirus.

Delivery Services' staff will be in the office to accept all inbound shipments from all couriers until further notice. Mail and packages can be picked up in Delivery Services between 8:00 am and 5 pm. Monday through Friday during the Coronavirus period. For questions please send an e-mail to [email protected]
