Leonila For Judge

It was such an honor to have had so many people who have joined Dr. Brian Babin and the Leonila for Judge Team on our most recent Saturday block walk yesterday. Dr. Babin is the Republican candidate for U.S. Representative of Texas' 36th Congressional District.

Dr. Babin and I strongly believe in family and in unity. With God, our unity and agreement is commanding a blessing over us.

Tonight Elizabeth Perez, one of our team members, hosted a very successful fund raiser.

Despite what you may have read in articles published in the Houston Chronicle and the South Belt Ellington Leader, this campaign is still going full force. is still allowed to campaign and accept contributions. The Court of Appeals may have overturned the trial court's decision, but the court case is now being appealed to the Texas Supreme Court.

With regard to the article in the South Belt Ellington Leader, the subtitle is completely misleading, incorrectly stating that 'Olivares-Salazar will not appear on the November ballot'. That is not for The Leader to decide. It is for the Texas Supreme Court to decide! The Leader chose to publish its article without checking with Ms. Salazar, her attorney, nor anyone from her campaign team. If The Leader would have done so, it would have known that the Harris County Republican Party and Ms. Salazar have filed with the Texas Supreme Court. Until the Supreme Court rules otherwise, Leonila still has a fighting chance of being on the November 4th General Election Ballot.
