Little Free Library 4918

A free book exchange located in the East End of Houston to promote literacy, a joy of reading, and a sense of community.

Library 4918 was built on commission by the fabulous design team, FMWfablab located in Houston's near East End. Following LFL guidelines, it is made from reclaimed wood from a 1910 farmhouse. The library is a french quarter cottage with iconic iron work, shutters, and of course fleur de lis pedestal.

The good news is, the LFL is on the workbench of FMWFabLab getting retrofitted and repaired. I'll post when it is reinstalled. Thanks to everyone for the donations of books and the encouraging words.
