We're making progress across Sharpstown, and community partnerships are essential to keeping that momentum going! Thank you, Sharpstown Civic Association, for the invitation to your monthly meeting to share updates on our investments in safer streets, expanded trails, and improved parks, and to hear directly from residents about their priorities.

Harris County is larger than 26 U.S. states, and keeping our families moving safely takes a strong partnership with the Texas Department of Transportation. Thank you to TAG Houston Region for bringing leaders from across our region together at the State of TxDOT Luncheon.

Texas has the highest uninsured rate in the nation, and Harris County is delivering access where it is needed most. We joined Harris Health to break ground on a new health center in Alief that will bring care closer to families across southwest Houston. The historic bond voters approved in 2023 made this possible, and we’re putting it to work for the families who need it most.

For families in southwest Houston, quality care will soon be right around the corner.

What a joy to celebrate Spring Branch Community Health Center at its Fall Harvest Luncheon. The staff and supporters in that room make free prenatal education, diabetes management classes, and cancer screenings possible for families across West Houston. Their care catches problems early and helps parents give their kids a healthy start.

When families get the care they need, our whole community grows stronger.

It was the highlight of my week to personally call local agencies to share the exciting news that their projects were selected for funding through our 2026 Places 4 People program!

Through this program, Precinct 4 works alongside local partners to build better roads, safer sidewalks, improved drainage, and stronger parks across our communities. Stay tuned for the full list of upcoming projects!

I was honored to join members to share how Precinct 4 is working to build a safer, stronger Cy-Fair and thank them for the many ways they give back.

What a joy it was to host our annual Fall Festival at Weekley Community Center in Cypress, where neighbors of every age came together for a pumpkin patch, a costume contest, a foam party and more. Thank you to every family who helped us celebrate the season. You made it truly special.
