Did you know that today is Mardi Gras (aka Fat Tuesday)? Celebrated every year, this holiday has many catholic roots.
Swing by Doherty Library to check out our Mardi Gras display to learn more about the history and tradition. UST started hosting Mardi Gras Balls in 1954 through 2008; we have archival materials on display, from masks to programs, and crowns.

On Monday February 10th at 1pm, join Doherty Library Faculty Series with Dr. Tim Reilly speaking on "Generational Faith: A Social Scientific Account of Passing on Religion." Sponsored by the Friends of Doherty Library, the lecture will be free and open to the public and there will be refreshments provided.
