The FMP Chess Tournament at Moody Park brought together community members of all ages for a day of strategy, sportsmanship, and fun!

Deputy Alvarado spent time interacting with citizens throughout the tournament, engaging with participants and spectators while helping create a positive community atmosphere. Events like these are a great way to strengthen relationships and bring people together through friendly competition.

Today, the Harris County Sheriff’s Office had the opportunity to connect and bond with the youth during Reece Academy’s 30th Anniversary Celebration. It was a great day filled with positivity, community engagement, and building meaningful relationships with the next generation. We are grateful to have been part of such a special milestone celebration and look forward to continuing to support and uplift our youth.

The excitement was contagious this morning as students geared up to ride their bikes to school 🚴‍♀️🚴‍♂️
Smiles, laughter, and pure joy filled the air as they pedaled alongside friends, creating memories before the school day even began. Moments like these remind us how fun and meaningful simple experiences can be when a community comes together.

Today, multiple law enforcement departments joined forces with Sinclair Elementary staff to help make this morning’s bike ride to school both safe and fun for the kids 🚴‍♀️🚴‍♂️👮‍♂️

It was a great example of teamwork, community support, and creating positive experiences for everyone!

This morning, parents and students from Sinclair Elementary kicked off the day with smiles and excitement as they prepared to ride their bikes to school alongside Police Officers.

We had an amazing time at North Shore Elementary School!

Students learned all about bike and pedestrian safety, including how to properly wear a helmet, understand traffic rules, use hand signals, cross safely at crosswalks, and make smart decisions near roads.

So proud of these students for their enthusiasm and commitment to staying safe! 🚴‍♀️ 🚸
