The storm doesn't warn you. Prepare before it arrives. ๐ŸŒ€

Hurricane Season is officially here โ€” and Sheriff Ed Gonzalez and the Harris County Sheriff's Office are asking Harris County to get ready right now. Not when the storm is named. Not when the shelves are bare.

Build your kit. Know your zone. Make your plan. Check on your neighbors. Small steps now can make all the difference when it matters most.

The FMP Chess Tournament at Moody Park brought together community members of all ages for a day of strategy, sportsmanship, and fun!

Deputy Alvarado spent time interacting with citizens throughout the tournament, engaging with participants and spectators while helping create a positive community atmosphere. Events like these are a great way to strengthen relationships and bring people together through friendly competition.

Thank you to everyone who came out and made the tournament a success! We look forward to seeing everyone at future community events.

We had an amazing time at North Shore Elementary School!

Students learned all about bike and pedestrian safety, including how to properly wear a helmet, understand traffic rules, use hand signals, cross safely at crosswalks, and make smart decisions near roads.

So proud of these students for their enthusiasm and commitment to staying safe! ๐Ÿšดโ€โ™€๏ธ ๐Ÿšธ
