Hi, heyyyy… how’s it going?

not gonna lie it’s a little awkward posting on this page after a year of not posting.😅

Anywho— here’s some photos from the past year and life updates.

- we moved to Conroe.
- I started homeschooling my older 3 kiddos.
- my husband and I took a solo trip to Greece to celebrate our ten year wedding anniversary.
- after putting our four kiddos in jiu jitsu and with some encouragement from my husband I decided to join, it’s become my new obsession.
- in 2025 I attended five births.

I’m super grateful for the local birth professional that referred this mama to me. Yay for collaboration!

meeting fellow like-minded moms is always exciting.

one thing we chatted about was that her previous birth was precipitous & that her doula missed it.

my mission for this mama’s birth was to ensure I was physically present for her to offer support.

when the text came through that labor had started I raced out the door and met mom & dad at the hospital.

baby W came swiftly — less than an hour after arriving at the hospital.

It was an honor to be apart of the journey!

Why hello there (insert awkward wave 👋🏼)

If we haven’t met, I’m Emily.

For the longest I went by Emma as a nickname which I chose for myself due to my childhood obsession with the spice girls (baby spice was my fav - true fans will know her "real" name was Emma 😅)

Doulahood found me in 2019 - while I was pregnant with my 3rd baby I took a local training.

Since then my passion for serving women has blossomed.

I’m honored every time a woman chooses me as a trusted confidant to walk alongside her throughout pregnancy, birth, & motherhood.

I’m a mama of four.

I enjoy collecting houseplants, discovering local breweries, coffee shops, thrifting, and of course spending time with my family.

I’ve always been one to question the status quo.

I’m all for deep conversations.

Homebirth, bedsharing, & low tox living are several of my other passions.

I live in Houston, Texas.

Some day I’d love to have acreage, chickens, & goats. 😅

There are many parallels between being a doula and a mother.

Being available emotionally, spiritually, and physically.

When I show up intentionally in motherhood, I can show up more authentically as a doula.
