To those who are not familiar- HLA is an organization of lawyers founded in 1955 in response to African American lawyers being denied admittance to the Houston Bar Association. (Not *that* long ago!) For the past 70 years HLA has worked to address the needs of African American lawyers and the community in general. This is another endorsement I find very meaningful… as a lawyer and judicial candidate in a justice system that disproportionately and negatively impacts African Americans, your vote of confidence matters. 🙏 I am excited to work together to !
