🌳 Big changes are coming to MacGregor Park! A major $75M redesign officially broke ground on Thursday to revitalize the historic Third Ward landmark.

Funded through a public-private partnership (including a $27M gift from the Kinder Foundation), the two-phase project will bring top-tier upgrades to the community by late 2028:

🎾 New tennis & pickleball center with 16 courts and a clubhouse

🏊 Renovated pool, pool house, and fitness center

👶 All-ability shaded playground & 3+ miles of walking trails

🌿 3,000 new trees, public art honoring the park's history, and better connections to Brays Bayou Greenway
