📚Big thinking starts with one step at a time!

Ms. Romero encourages our scholars to approach reading and writing with confidence! By guiding them to read the prompt, underline task words, and identify the topic, she helps break a big question into manageable steps. Her scholars are learning to compare ideas and use evidence from both texts to support their answers!

A little generosity can bring our scholars a whole lot of joy!

The holiday season is almost here, KIPP CONNECT Primary families! Each year, your support helps us create special school celebrations filled with smiles, laughter, and memories for our scholars.

If your family is able to contribute, please find your grade level’s donation below:

🍪 PK4: Cookies
🥔 Kinder: Individual bags of chips—all kinds
🍬 1st Grade: Individually packaged candy bags
🥔 2nd Grade: Individual bags of chips
🧀 3rd Grade: Cans of queso for nachos
🌽 4th Grade: Bags of tortilla chips for nachos
🧃 5th Grade: Juice pouches

📅 Donations accepted: Monday, October 26–November 13
📍 How to donate: Send items with your scholar to their classroom or drop them off at the front office.

❤️ A different way of learning does NOT mean a lesser ability to succeed!

Today, KIPP CONNECT Primary wore red for dyslexia awareness—and a powerful reminder: every scholar deserves to feel seen, supported, and celebrated! 📚

Dyslexia is a learning disability that can make reading and spelling more difficult. It’s not about intelligence or effort. With the right teaching and support, scholars with dyslexia can thrive!

Our red shirts say it loud and clear: “We believe in you. We celebrate your strengths. You belong here.”

Let’s turn awareness into understanding, y’all!

✨ What a magical afternoon for our wonderful PK4 scholars!

Their Pumpkin Patch Festival was filled with sweet surprises—a special space ready for them to explore, dance, and, of course, pick their favorite pumpkin! 🍂🧡

From enjoying each activity station and tasty caramel apples to posing with their teachers at our pumpkin photo booth and dancing together to their favorite songs, our little pumpkins had so much to celebrate!

Thank you to everyone who helped bring this joyful afternoon to life. These moments make our KIPP CONNECT Primary community so special!
