The last two days have been phenomenal!! I couldn’t be more proud of my Office of Talent and Organizational Development team!! The Involved and Evolve Work-Life Transformation Summit was well received and attended by all City of Houston departments. The engagement was over the top!! I want to personally thank everyone who participated! Mayor Turner declared November 28, 2023 Involve & Evolve Employee Engagement Day! Thank you Mayor for your support!

Catina Swift, Denise R. Wyche, and DeBorah Johnson, you’ve raised the bar!! I look forward to the success of all the department delegates, as they embark upon the next 18 months and collaborate on their strategies and the employee engagement action plans. Public Service Recognition Week rose to another level this year! My HR Communications Team is so creative and talented!! From the Essay Contest, Posted Contest, to the Basketball Tournament they organized, it embodied exposing our youth to career’s and our employees about the importance of their public service!!
