It’s not often you see an iconic news anchor like Robin Roberts answering questions instead of asking them. But that’s exactly what happened when I had Robin as a guest for the second season of my YouTube series, Moments That Make Us.

We covered a lot of ground—including how her sister saved her life, why she makes appointments with herself, the advice her mom gave her when she got diagnosed with cancer, and her reflections on spending over twenty years as an anchor on Good Morning America.

There were many special moments throughout our conversation (also a few tears!), but it was Robin’s vulnerability—her realness—that made this conversation so memorable. I can’t wait for you to watch it. Link to the episode is in the comments.

Ladies and Gentlemen, it gives me great pleasure to announce the commencement of our annual AWHPI Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign Initiative called: AWHPI LEARN PINK in the month of October 2024.

This year, we are delighted to have the support of the Office on Women Health, and the partnership of the FIRST LADIES FORUM GLOBAL PLATFORM, and in collaborations with over 33 global partners spanning over 66 countries around the world. For the entire month of October, we will be sending out articles and information on breast health and awareness with survivors stories, breast health fighters and educators as well as Medical professionals leading the fight. It is a four-week educational series, and info will be shared every week online, starting Monday, October 7, 2024.
